Baspie the railway dog was again tucked under a table in his Nestbedz. I had a ticket for him from a platform machine, and my Interrail ticket sorted on the app for Graz to Bratislava. The change in Vienna was easy, with boards showing platforms and all on time.
Austria seems a land made of rectangles and straight lines. Buildings, decal, fields, even tall straight trees.
At Bratislava main train station be aware that the rail trams (eg tram 1) are out of view at a lower level. There is a staircase down just inside the station. The buses and bus-like trams are at ground level. They are many and regular.
